damage from leaky intake manifolds

I was wondering how much damage could result from a leaky carb intake manifold? I plan on replacing them soon and am not riding her(78' kz650) till I do, but I noticed it after I bought it and drove it about 150 miles home. It seemed to stop once she warmed up, but still bogs and almost stalls when releasing the clutch. Would this be from the air leak or something else?
Thanks

Could deffinately be from an air leak, especially if the idle hangs up for a couple seconds when your off the throttle.

It could also be the advancer sticking/timing being off/bad points.
Or mixture screws not tuned properly/leaking carb enrichener circuit.

Head gasket leak/low compression...

blah blah blah...

If the bike didn't overheat/sieze, it likely didn't harm too much.

If the spark plugs tips look white, it could be lean enough to damage something run long enough.
