Name that carburetor
17 May 2010 18:07
Sorry, I'm sure you all have heard this question a million times. What's the best way to identify what type of Mikuni carbs I have so I can order the correct jets? I am running pod filters and cut off pipes with no mufflers. I know it'll be obnoxious, but it's a bobber aren't they suppose to be? Anyway, I think I need to order 115 main jets and 17.5 pilot jets but don't know anything else or where to order them.
Here's a pic of the carbs.

In the picture you posted. Look at the bracket the carbs are bolted to.
Where the flange bolts to the bracket there are some numbers. Then look on the other side.
When you have the numbers post again. Roy

I'm guessing this is a common post, but I'm new to the site and couldn't find it very quickly.

I can't see any numbers while they're bolted on. I'm guessing I'll have to take them off to see where you're talking about.
