That one is better but the outside carbs still have longer intake paths.

That model didn't have 2 wheel drive. The belt you see in the pic is used to run the power steering pump. Ed

What pvc fittings are the pods hooked to on the FJ600?
Or did you just glue up some 90s & Tees, cut a couple of holes w a hole saw, then glue in some pvc pipe or something?

He posted photos of the bike in this topic... 79 KZ1000 95% complete . Too bad he painted the frame & whatnot that hideous blue - uuuglyyy. He said the bike runs "amazingly well", but the carbs need to be "tweaked".
i used to stop by there untill they changed forum host....
he had a lot of good intentions, but that paint job was butt ugly....that was one funky color.....:S
If only the guy painted the frame black & everything else black or silver.... too bad he chose that blue. He ruined what would've been a nice resto.

It's a combo of 90's on the 2 outboards and 4-way T's for the 2 inboards. They had to be trimmed to get proper center to center measurements. Attached to carbs with rubber couplers that I cut in half so I could get 2 carb mounts out of 1 coupler. Pvc is Schedule 40 1 1/2in. 54mm Emgo pods on the backside of the 4-way t's. Less then $30 including pods.
