I'm looking for specifications and info on my carburetors. Anyone want to school me on what size and model carbs came on my 900b1?

I know they are 26mm slide mikunis, but are they decent? Are they hindering power when compared to 28mm's?

if the motor and exhaust system also intake system are stock then they would not make much difference but if there are motor mod's or exhaust or pod filters the bigger carb's will make a difference your engine is just an air pump the more air you get in and out the more power it will make.

The 26mm will work as good or better than 28mm all in the set up and jetting .

The 26'S should have better low and mid range. The air moving through the 26's are moving at a higher velosity.

get some oldschool 29 mikuni smoothbores....they dont all have to cost 400-700 on ebay...i got my pair two yrs back for 228.00 and shipping 45.....you gotta watch for a while then bid low often...they can be had....big difference.....add a pipe and you got some quick wake up power for your stock motor...you will notice right away....my 2 cents....stock is nice too though for sure
