Oh oh... When petcock rebuilds go bad... HELP!

Howyadoin,

I just rebuilt my petcock and put it back on the mostly drained tank. When I turned the petcock to the ON position and turned the tank over, fuel was flowing from the output. If the tank is disconnected i.e. no vacuum, there should be no output, right?

What did I do wrong? I replaced the diaphragm and spring, replaced the rubber seal behind the ON-PRI-RES switch, it went back together with no issues. Arrgghh...

Got it... I had the spring on the wrong side of the diaphragm.

It looks to be working good now, no leaks.

I'm such a maroon... :S

P.S. I got the kit from Z1 Enterprises. Perfect fit, and man do they ship fast! Kudos to them!
