BS34 w/stock KZ airbox?

I've been reading about mixed results using BS34 carbs with pods, and was wondering what would need to be done to use the stock airbox on my KZ900 with the set of BS34s I just picked up. I'm going to port the head to match the new carbs, and have 4>1 kerker, with kz1000 cams.

Forgot to add, carbs are off a kz1000 police bike, 37.5 pilot, 122.5 mains.

boots from a j motor airbox?

Would they fit with the stock KZ box? And would I still have to rejet?

youd have to open up the airbox holes to fit,not sure about jetting needs
