Carb springs in top of carbs 82 KZ750 Spectre

I feel this is a stupid question, and think I already know the answer... but here it goes.

Do all four carbs need this spring? I am tearing the carbs down on my new bike and noticed there was no spring in the carb that has a plug on the vacume port. 82 KZ750 Spectre

W. Yes. that spring controls the rise/return rate of slide, and all need be equal. G
