need a carb body

OK, I am trying to clean up the carbs on a 75 z that has not been started in 12 years. I got 2 done and the 3rd one soaked 3 days before I started to take it apart yesterday. When trying to get the float pin out it was stuck so bad I broke the post off that the pin slides thru. It was really STUCK. What I need now is how to identify this carb to begin a search for anouther one. It is a 75 z1-B and most everything looks to be stock. I measured the inside of the throat on the head side at 28mm. Can anyone help?

where are you located?

I'm in Brazil, Indiana. The carb I need is for the No 1 cylinder

I may have one of the old style with 2 screws on the top cap.

Here is a picture of the carb I have. The one I need has to be from cylinder 1 or 3 because of the fuel inlet and air screw placeing. I have the top and bowl but need the body and float and float pin.

I had the same thing happen in a snowmobile carb,and I J.B. Welded it,and it help for years,before I parted the sled out.

I haven't been a member of this list very long, but when I started to rebuild my carbs and broke a piece one of the other members jumped right in and helped me out with the part I needed. Thanks Kawickrice. Ijust hope I can be of some help to someone else some time.

We have all been there. Some parts for these bike just aren't made anymore and that can put a damper on things when they break. I was glad to help ya. Plus I have a weak spot for the Z1, which sometimes has hard to find parts that are unique to that bike. Good luck hope you get things worked out.
