1980 kz1000 classic air switting valve (92059-1136

had this tube on order from babbitts but they cant get it. didnt know if its something more elaborate then a tube that connects the filter box with a hose to the air system. right now ive got nothing but a hole (i gotta tape over it ) where this should be and a loose hose. not even sure what switting means! the parts diagram doesn't show it in great detail. any classic owners want to take a peek at their's and tell me if i can just get a plastic tee or the like to connect the hose? it's #6 on the diagram. thanks, keith

just placed the order thru them. thanks fixer. i'll be pissed if its just a 14 dollar plastic connector but oh well.......

well i feel better, its a 14 dollar rubber connector instead of a plastic connector. LOL. on their site its called a switching valve instead of a switting valve. still gotta be better than a hole in the air filter housing.

i had a funny feeling about what that was called. working for a japanese company ive seen a few really good translations. what do you figure a cheese union would be?? lol
