Longer output shaft will be a problem for chain clearing the rear shocks. And it seems that the gears that engages 2nd gear (2nd output and 6th output gears) have the same part number as 550.
And i see that both gears have avalible supersessions. Maybe an improvment?

Hello. The translation may not be correct. The 600 output shaft parts fit perfectly on the 550's short shaft. The long shaft (+10mm) allows you to mount a wheel with a wider offset, for example. I'll take some photos.

Here's a 550 output shaft vs. a 600.
Top: 550 parts, bottom: 600 parts.
See the difference between the two.
Here are the identical input shafts.
Here are the input shaft end parts. With a hole, 500/550. Without a hole, ZX550 or 600.
everything in place

Thank you! If I ever have issues with 3rd and 4th gear I will look into getting ZX600 gears.
I know you have European Classic Endurance in France but do you also have short races for clsssic bikes?
I have never raced in France.

Yes there is a championship

There are also events like the Moto Légende Cups over 2 days. Lots of bikes and riders. Ago, Fast Freddie Spencer, Chemarin, Baker and others.

Thanks. I might come for a race next summer.
It’s a different feeling to slide the bike on a dirttrack. Starting to get used to it.
