Looking for handlebar
Yesterday 06:23
Hey guys I’m in search of a handlebar for my 82 kz1000 ltd. It currently has a flat drag bar and I’m not digging it. Not wanting the cruiser style bar bike originally came with but something with a bit of rise and sweep back is fine. Anyone have one they want to get rid of that might go well on the bike? I think what I’m wanting is a bar more similar to what came on the j model and not the cruiser, but open to suggestions. Having the locating hole pre drilled is a plus, but I can always drill if needed. Thanks!

Euro bars are another option. if superbike bars are too flat. z1enterprises has handlebars with measurements. assuming they still do, anyway.

Here's a 440LTD with superbike bars (and a GPz550 tank) - might give you an idea of how it could look
Please ignore the terrible seat cover. I don't know how to make those

Early LTD bars are reproduced and sold by Z1 Enterprises
about 39 Dollars
The are pretty comfortable too . My 78 LTD 1000 came with them
For a different look and still comfortable I switched to Clubman bars but installed them upside down and they look and feel real good.
Full disclosure .. I added one and a half inches to the bars on both sides and then they were perfect

Thanks guys really appreciate the recommendations. I went with the superbike Renthal bars from Z1. They are on the way! That’s the type bar I had in mind glad I asked! You guys rock! Thanks again!

I put a set of inverted clubman bars on my buddy's 85' Honda Nighthawk 700S after his son bent the original adjustable bars. At first he complained but after he rode it he changed his mind.

IMO the inverted clubman is just awful
It gives the impression that the installer didn't know how they're supposed to work

Nerdy, have you ridden a bike with inverted clubman bars or are you just blowing wind? It's actually quite comfortable and doesn't put your elbows up in the air like a lot of the dirt bike style bars.
