Understandable no doubt... The Z1 analog unit is ~ $75 plus shipping... Jeff also has a Pro-Motion unit as well, think it was ~ $100....
Found that these Analog gauges where ok for the most part but where considerably off when compared to the Morgan unit for tighter tolerance in the adjustments are obtainable and is desired especially in a performance build...
Seriously, it made that much of a difference...
Actually, I would think anyone would want this in a stock build as well but that's me...
Service manual calls for carb sync in routine maintenance and pretty much anytime carb adjustments (outside of simple elevation change tweaks) are made...
I've used mine numerous times throughout engine build, carb jetting and maintenance where I want it spot on henceforth dialed in for performance...
NOTE: I also realized this wasn't going to be my only KZ... I'm addicted to it now....
Anyhoot, go too cheap if you wish but I'd wager you'll be posting as I and others have where certain procedures/gaskets/seals/tools etc... just have to bite the $$$ bullet if you expect performance out of the old girl...
At least get a good set of analog gauges for under a hunski.... J&P cycles has them as well...
