When I was working on my Honda CX 500 I took some galvanized pipe bushings and made a reducer from a 8" piece of 2" pipe down to a 1/4" brass barb with a see through fuel filter, that was fine for that bike but now I need to make another that has two fuel outlets for the Z1B I'm working on, or I'll just make another of the same.
I would just hang this over the handlebar and it wouldn't give a lot of run time but it was easy to top off.

I am getting ansy and want to start up my bike, so I am going to let the paint on the tank cure and am going to try using the bottle from my lucas break in oil additive. I will rinse it out really well with some gas, and then stick the pointy spout into my fuel line, hopefully the little barbs hold in the fuel line!
Would I need to plug up the vaccum line on my BS34 carbs if I am using this temp fuel source?

Yes, vacuum should be capped.
And fuel source should be vented.
Good Fortune!

Take one paint thinner can add a barbed hose fitting and a bit of solder.
This one's been feeding my projects for thirty years.

Old 2 stroke oil reservoir tanks work great for that as well. Mine hangs from the handlebars and "IT'S GENUINE KAWASAKI" so the carbs synch in more precisely
