i need to re-read the micro info again.

i seem to recall that it wasn't going to support multiple coils... hence why i ruled it out for a kz app.

that changes things.

Double check the website to be certain. If you discover that it won't work, please let me know because I'm counting on that little box to fit my streetfighter project. It just makes everything that much nicer if the DFI and ignition are all in one box and tunable with software...

First....I apologize for getting this thread off topic. I do want to reply to this so we can hopefully clear up a couple of things.

Any future posts I make on FI will be in the appropriate FI thread.

According to what I'm reading, the microsquirt will only handle 1 low imped. injector per bank. Looking at the wiring on www.microsquirt.info , I've come to the conclusion that there are 2 injector banks [is that correct?]

Also, isn't the flyback board required if you're using low imped. injectors?

Does this effectively mean that if the micro includes the flyback board and if there are only 2 injector banks, then the allowed number of low imped. injectors would be 2?

I clicked on the link for resellers and there are several listed. Does anyone have experience with any of the listed resellers?

Is there a particular reseller that has good motorcycle setup experience with the product?

Just want to get all my ducks in a row before I try to order anything...

Thanks in advance
Larry C.

That's the way I read it also, you would need to use one resister per injector to use more than one low impedance injector per bank (2 banks).
Also, isn't the flyback board required if you're using low imped. injectors?

There are no add-on boards for microSquirt, there simply is no room in the case for them.

I was mistaken when I said that the MicroSquirt included the flyback circuitry.

I am familiar with most of them, and I don't recall any of them making bike related posts. I deal with DIYautotune, and have been very satisfied.

Not that I'm aware of, but there is an active forum, and many have done bikes (and lawnmowers/snowmobiles/etc)

I really need to get off my butt and get the GPz750 finished so I can install my MS on it, I have MegaSquirt 1, and I still have to order the WB (LC-1).

On EBAY this morning. Search Kawasaki Fuel Injection. There's a rack of TB's for sale.

I have read this topic many many times, and i dont understand everything, maybe someone can help. I have kz750-82 head which i want to port. This is what i have learnt. Intake valve is 34mm. so bowl area diameter should be 88%=> 29,92mm. Carbs are bs34 so runner diameter should match carb size. How do you calculate OPTIMAL cross section area diameter? And last question is, what kind of cfm numbers i should get -84 gpz750 head, when it is ported for street purpose?
Jos se ei tapa, niin se vituttaa.
