1981 KZ 750 LTD - found on its side

I am really starting to think this bike is cursed.

After finally tuning and tweaking the thing so that it seemed all was working as best as could be expected, I awoke to find it lying on its right side in front of my house.

It was parked on the side of the street in a hard sand/grassy patch.
I could see no obvious collision damage.
The mirrors were out of position and the brake hand lever seems bent.
The ignition cover was caked with dirt and the right rear turn signal is bent.

I started it after it sat upright for a few minutes.
It seemed OK but for a large amount of white exhaust.

Thanks

500 lb bike would be a lot closer :)

The centerstand supports a lot of weight on two fairly small pads, and it don't work to well on anything but asphalt/concrete surfaces, for that matter neither does the sidestand.

On anything but asphalt/concrete I use the sidestand, and I put a rock/board/etc under the sidestand to keep it from falling over.

The white smoke was due to excess fuel that ran out of the fuel bowls while the bike was on it's side.
