I marked mine with an etching drill. A few wouldn't fit no matter what I did. When I see caps being sold on eBay I'd like to reach through the screen and make the seller go GACK.

I plan on torquing everything down. Just waiting for some cylinder studs, gaskets.
Well as far as buying heads with the original caps, it will be a crap shoot unless you actually see the engine running. Parts are drying up out there and to many guys are selling heads without caps. If everything rotates after being bolted down as good as it does now I would run this head. My friend is looking for another head from a few of his sources, but again it is a crap shoot.
