WISECO pistons have a better implimentation, in my opinion, of those oil holes !
Holes are much bigger (less likely to clog with carbon), and half (cross-section) of the oil holes are ALWAYS exposed and are not totally obscured by the piston ring... clever !
I think this design improves cylinder lubrication as well !

My list of Christmass presents now includes a set of these....

Hurry up Father Christmass....

Marvel Mystery Oil (MMO) is a good product to break down carbon on pistons.  I learned this from some GM Saturn engineers, who told me it was recommended in those cars to keep the rings free, because those cars had "low tension" rings, which liked to coke up.  I don't know the ratio of gas to MMO, but the recommendation was to add some to the gas when filling up.

Snake oil, hope for the hopeless. But I'll still give it a try.
Kind of like when I buy all those over the counter cold remidies, knowing they woun't work.

It was in the mid 60's yesterday, so I went for a 100 mile ride on the bike, after adding 2 oz of Marval Mystery oil to the fuel, as Nessism suggested. Should I also add some to the oil?
I also did some plug chops durring this ride. I'll start a plug chop thread with picks of the results.
BTW, I'm not a professional mechanic. Just self taught, out of financal, need to fix my own stuff. So there are holes in my knowlage. (like the holes in the piston groves.) The Kawasaki service manual said to clean the carbon out of the groves but made no metion of the fact there were holes that needed to be cleaned.

Throw some strait 50 or 60 weight oil in it! If that don't help? Last try is saw dust! Learned that from Lucky's used cars in the late 70's
I've been using Marvels since 1975! In every engine i've ran! lawn mower, snow blower, cars. My old Shovel head still has original soft valve seats made for leaded fuel! second set of valves are stainless, and I put Wiseco forged pistons in it in 1989. Have not taken it apart since.
I've told you guys here 15 years ago about Marvels 50% with mineral spirits and lacquer thinner! That is my go to miracle snake oil juice!
We hone the cylinders on our old 54 cast iron Chrysler Hemi Gasser, Supercharged on Methanol.
I've honed any Kaw block I've ever did also with Marvels! straight hones or ball hones.

I take it the saw dust was to stop a slipping clutch (leaking crank seal) to get it "off the lot"
