I understand, so install hotter cam will have a large increase in combination with higher compression.
So by a exstra block for spare is a good dection then, so you backup if you borr up to 810 and need a new borr in the future.

You will need a good port Job first to get more power on your 810 ccm Setup. Ports are the bottle neck that has to be open first.

The holy trinity of increasing power is increase compression/hot cam/ increased flow. Flow is carbs/porting/exhaust. advancing ignition can help as well if retarded to begin with

A member here is selling a 67mm MTC piston kit for the 650. I "think" they would fit in a 750 but not positive. Does anyone know? The stock bore is 66mm so 67mm is a nice clean up bore and the liners will still have lots of meat left over.

Hi guys, been away a while.
Question/ The specs for piston/cylinder clearance states 0.06mm.
As said before, mine are 0.6mm.
0.06 mm seems pretty tight. Is this right or a misprint? I kind of remember in a lot of cases piston ring end gaps being significantly larger than that.

No misprint. That's the new spec though, not the service limit.

11 Jun 2021 06:47Piston to cylinder gap is not the same thing as ring end gap. The ring end gap is indeed much larger that the piston to cylinder clearance.Hi guys, been away a while.

It's been quite the journey for me, but I've finally come to the decision to retire myself from this project and move on to other things.
I've spent much of my life just fixing things (hence the handle) and I've grown tired of it. I've spent 3 or 4 years on it and in the last 2 have pretty much done nothing.
So, the bike needs to go.
I live in Western Sydney, so if anyone is interested in taking it on, please contact me.
Frame is mostly done, bike is complete (looking for one part in my garage ATM).
Engine will need a rebore and carbs restored. Primary chain and cam chain all within specs, and is partially dismantled.
I have kept a photographic collection showing the dismantling.
