Hope it can help someone who wants a quieter exhaust, but still louder than OEM.

Perhaps I'm seeing this all wrong, but I have concern about what you are doing. Please consider the following thought before proceeding further with your concept.

Is it possible that forcing all the engine exhaust through that tiny hole in the middle of your disk, you may be converting that Vance & Hines baffle into a dangerous projectile? If that thing was to get blown out the back of the meg with the right amount of force, you may end up with a problem.

It is never dumb to be too careful. :)

Please post an "installed" pic from an angle similar to:

Looks like a Gatling machine gun. Sounds pretty good for me. Long trips can turn annoying with louder exhausts.

To be quite honest I didn't think it was louder than stock to begin with. That said, pipes are loud for a reason? Breathing and such play a part in making power. Put another way my RSX 2.0 type s with rotrex 3 inch thermal pipe came with a baffle to suppress the noise. What was the end result? Yeah, not great. Car was stifled in power and still droned at highway speed. My car is obnoxiously loud with supercharger and 400 hp, like louder than the 8 cylinder versions at the strip that are modified. As long as the stock baffle is installed with the fiberglass pipe barely sounds more than the stock exhaust but take out the fiberglass...and....it still sound not loud. Take the baffle out and...a little bit loud but only to you. Gawd, I miss riding mine. I give myself a month more then whatever I have to do to make the time I am taking her out by golly! That Bassani sounds hella nice at wot.
