I think it is about 10 horsepower difference. Oh, and a bit of torque, too.

As I recall, he K/M engines (LTD and CSR) Kawasaki rates at 92hp, while they rated the J (Standard) at 102.

Actually, the GPZ cams (KZ1100B) are even better.

All the cam specs and hp ratings are in the fsm.

Also, some of the fsms have a misprint on the cam bearing cap torque. It is listed as 12 ft-lb, which is way too much. It should not be more than 104 INCH-pounds. Many guys are more comfortable at 85-90 in-lb.

Yes. I think any cam below .400 lift should be plug and play. Higher than that and you need to start clearancing the cam cover and follower bores. At some point, depending on cams and Pistons, you have to worry about valve reliefs to prevent expensive contact between valves and pistons.

GPZ cams are plug and play. I put GPZ1100 UT cams into my cyl. head with no prob. GPZ1100 UT cams has the highest lift.
GPZ1100 UT cams had NO grooves.

Nice, where did u come across those, cause I figured since I’m gonna be in the top of the engine anyway I thought I would look around and maybe come across something.
