KZ750? Help figuring out Motor and Frame number?

I am looking for some help figuring a vin number for a Kawasaki. My husband and I brought home a Kz70. I always like researching the parts and making sure they match what we are told or just learn more about the bike. I know that the bike is a pre 1980 serial number since it is only an 8-10 character number. The numbers sre for the motor KZ750BE047843 and the frame number is KZ750G-001686. just trying to figure out what we have and what direction to go with this project. any help or links to figuring this out would be so helpful.
