I don't go by a color chart because most where made when fuel was leaded and unleaded fuel does not color plug's the same.

How do a perfect spark plug look like with unleaded fuel.
Some pics would be nice, i have to know/learn the unleaded fuel reference spark plug color now for future posts like this.

I run 125 mains in a set of VM29's on my 810cc motor and they are almost white after a plug chop done right
After street riding for a while they get a little tan color to them.
IMHO if you have a modded motor buy a Colortune and learn to use it.
When I got mine I stuck it in an old Brigg's lawnmower and played with the choke to make it go rich or lean watching the color change.

Autotune only works on a EFI motor what you're thinking is a WEGO type setup that data log's off an 02 sensor
then down load the info. I think a WEGO setup run's a little over $400 buck's a color tune is about $80 buck's

Keep in mind that not all exhaust changes require jetting changes. Not saying yours does not but not all do. You are IMO much more likely to require jet changes when you alter the intake.

Modern pump gasoline has so many additives it is no longer accurate to use plug color to fine tune carb jetting. I have my bikes run on a dyno and checked with an exhaust gas sniffer when Im close to final jetting.
