i have no idea.....its a detuned zx-11 motor....if you do a search, you can find the original road tests...i had a zrx1100 that had the same motor.....very smooth linear power....

here is a stock road test....mine has a muzzy 4-1 and is jetted...i have 120 at the wheel with a dyno sheet to prove it......

I also had Joe at Pit Stop do my machining. I bought MTC 10.5:1 1075 pistons from him and had him bore the block. Also had him rebuild the head and port it. I have a few thousand miles on the motor now and it runs great!

Keith1, I didn't know you sold your KZ. I remember getting advice from you when I was rebuilding mine.
'77 KZ1000-MTC 1075 kit. Stage 1 port

and i remember giving it.....if i remember correctly you had a 78 standard...anyway, sometimes i get a little ADD on the bike thing....i have had quite a few over the years....i still scan the local craigslist looking for "the one"....i sold all my specialty tools, but i know what to get and where to get it for the right price....good to know your rebuild turned out good....thats what this site is all about.....i m cruising the gpz, but a wise man says"never say never" on wrenching an old classic again...
