Difference in Exhaust and Intake cams

thanks Jay,I was on a limited budget at the time (now too) and was using 38.6-32mm valves in a J head.

If I remember right I sunk the valves to get them in the right position when degreeing the cams. it had the added effect of not having to use those super thick andrews shims.

I remember having to radius the 15 degree cut to keep the flow good at low lift.
