Had some beers New Years eve so only made it to 10.30 pm (bloody slack i know)
missed every fireworks everywhere. Did see the works in Sydney on the news.
I am afraid you are a few years late to see the Indy cars at Surfers Paradise - they are only the Very boring V8 Stupidcars that go round and round now.We only have the F1 in Melbourne .i saw the first Indy race at surfers - fuck that must have been about 1990/91 ? Saw fuk all cause it was a street course.

The hits just keep coming! Jan 2nd...38 farenheit & sunny...window slamming shut soon, but every time I make up my mind that it's the last ride of the year, ma nature throws me a bone....gotta love it! Only bike out, but I am okay with that! I do envy the members in warmer climes!

Been in the 40's this week. Going to the high 70's next. Can't wait. The 69 Ford is a blessing but I can't stand to be in a box anymore.

I hope it does for you buddy. It was in the low 80's a couple days, then rain and back down in the 50's during the day, now it's in the low 70's. Can plummet anytime for the next two months. Not like what you guys have to deal with. That's why the Slow birds come here from Canada and all points north. There's no snow here, no excuse for 35 in a 55, GO HOME. Everyone has to deal with something.

Ma Nature just keeps on throwing me bones! Got out last weekend, had a great ride, and unexpectedly reached mid 40's yesterday...Who took a half day off? THIS guy! LOL! I will take all of this I can get! (even if I don't get any work done on her over the Winter LOL!)

Mid 70's here. Always thought about offering camping for bike travelers this time of year or in the fall. AZ two hours away/La two hours away. Summer is brutal though.
