TOPIC:

This has got to be the RAINIEST summer I can remember ( and I am OLD ,so can remember a LOT of them LOL!)
Have barely ridden this year, snuck out for a ride yesterday and lo and behold thought at any minute was gonna get soaked, stopped at a stop sign on a back country road, roads were still wet from previous rains, musta been oily at the spot where I stopped.... cause I gently took off and the rear end of my '75 Z1-B 900 swung around to my right like I was some young hot rodder!! CRAZY!! Sigh ! Got about 60 miles in then came home.
Maybe RAIN will slow down soon.

Lake Travis here is our main source of water and it's at 38% full
water level is over 50 below normal for this time of year.

I'm still managing to get rides in but we live on a gravel road and some days the bike looks like its been ridden off road

I second zukdave...send that stuff here...my lawn is already doing the summer die-off (which is actually sort of OK as I don't have to mow a dead lawn).

Our garden is done for the year ...except for the okra and eggplant, which like it really hot and dry.

I have to water every day as we are in hot spell for the cali coast..each day after work my lettuce is almost dead..lotta water and the next morning it is alive and healthy...same cycle each hot day...would love one or two days of rain.....six months on the coast we go rain free...six months of rain on and off

I have to agree its been pretty wet here so far in Southern Ontario, it seem like its raining every week.
