I'm totally game to start one up. I just didn't want to step on any toes. Any suggestions on another flag or coin or a vest, as the baton?

I've thought of a vest that we could all sew on a patch from your state. The patch can also have your name and info on it...kind of like the flag that everyone wrote on, but without the pen smudges. Wearing the vest will also allow others to see the KZR pride as we ride!

Please feel free to list your suggestions!

And this is all, of course, with the approval of KZR and it's leaders/owners.

This summer! Mad Duck needs to get out again and my project is a day away from finished. I just need to run the brake lines and paint the calipers and mount the rear caliper. It's as good as done. I'm sure I have a friend over in LA that is retired with nothing more than time on his hand and a gaggle of bikes that he rides every day. He liked the idea of it. We definitely could get a group to meet up and ride with us as far as the East Coast with perhaps a rally in North Carolina on the way to the East Coast and back. He could run Route 66 to Chicago and from there we could ride down to Marietta and make camp a few days and then again East. I know that I said I would be down to do this a summer or two ago but my daughter coming along and the house project took my time and my cash.

5 Years ago this summer we finished the lower 48 States! I really enjoyed those rides out from Nebraska to get the flag moving again AND then in 2014 We met up and put a nail in it at Four Corners. Here is a picture in southern Colorado on U.S. 160 at Wolf Creek Pass on the way to Four Corners. What a day and week we had!

That saddle and exhaust are sweet! You get your arse cradled while listening to a 4 cylinder staccato symphony!
