here is your Real men riding real bikes...

This is Pocho. Soon to be a riding legend. Now I know Sturgis is full of real men who ride real motorcycles (American Made)not to be confused with ordinary guys like us who actually ride our bikes where we go because that is what riding a bike is all about. But we will forgive him for his audacity and confusion in riding all those miles on his bike and NOT trailering. After all kicking back on his bike and sleeping on it is pure luxury. For five months this bike was his bed and go.

And of course you have those questionable characters that come along every once in awhile. Signage has been made to point those seedy types out.

Here are four familiar faces that we went to visit along the way.

The guy on the left is the biker that started this whole revolution around the world. It is simply amazing at the way these things work. I still don't understand but he is larger than life to all of these guys. He had the vision and now I am starting to believe. Mario the international president of the whole thing.

Not all biker babes are homely.

Unfortuneately before we got to the badlands the battery in my bike took a dump and we had to trailer her. Man it was like 110 in the shade. Apparently I wasn't the only bike with battery trouble. Thank God we had back up drivers.
