Good luck to you on your quest for better pictures.

Realistically that might be a tall order as race bikes were highly guarded back in the day especially from people taking photos. Builders did not want any custom bits being copied by the competition.

Agree the fact that they were photos and not digital files plays a part as well.  I am willing to bet there are photos out there that have not been converted to digital files which makes it hard to find on line.

As to the carb sets on his wall ---- I would not expect anything less from him.  He is the one that has tested and found solutions to choke/enricher repair, and air jet fixes to overcome the lean spot that happens with changing from stock air box to individual filters. I would think it took several sets to find the fixes/solutions he has. I know it would of for me.
