In many states, a replacement title is not hard to get.

I always look at the engine screws to see if they are mushed from being removed with a standard American screwdriver.

If it is clean and you have the time, find a titled frame for $150.00 and swap everything over.
They are great bikes!

In my state the title thing is easy. A zillion ways around it. All i need is a bill of sale, and once i register it, the DMV will title it.

What fuel is recommended...can you use regular E10 gas in one of these and have no issues?

Yes. Where I live all gas is E10, so that's what I've been using for many years. I generally use 93 octane, but others use 89 octane and do not seem to have any problems. I've sometimes used 89 octane and didn't notice a difference. Ed

Looks pretty decent...... I've seen some pretty nice ones a few times lately for 1,200 to 1,500 running but never checked em out in person or rode em....... maybe if you talked him down.... of course you know it will need a battery,, carbs and tank gone through, plugs, oil change maybe tires, points or Dyna etc etc.... could add up and of course there could be a hidden problem .....

Are those good rear shocks anyone, can't quite make out the brand.... that could help with the price and the front rim looks like a aluminum did rim to me but I could be off on that one. Always wanted to get alum rims but to pricey by the time I get em laced up and bought.

S&W shocks. I had some. Progressive. If he lien sale'd the bike, a title is no problem. Might be a salvage title though.

I dont so wheelies at all. In my opinion, thats not what bikes are made for. Thats ego and silliness.
