I use to get 130 miles before reserve with the 28's. Now I'm lucky to get 110. Getting 41 MPG is good for me with the 33's.

You may want to put each on a scale to see which (if either) is actually heavier, According to BikeZ.com they weigh about the same with the KZ being slightly lighter. That site show the KZ750 twin DRY weight at 480.6 lbs. See www.bikez.com/motorcycles/kawasaki_kz750_1977.php . The same site shows the CB750 WET weight at 518.1 lbs. See www.bikez.com/motorcycles/honda_cb_750_f_1972.php .
The CB750 fuel tank holds 4.76 gallons of gas. At 6.3 lbs per gallon that makes 30 pound of gas. 518 lbs. minus 30 lbs. equals 488 lbs.; slightly more than the KZ750 twin.
Of course if they have been modified they each would weigh different amounts than stock bikes. Ed

KZ750 DRY weight is 507 and it FEELS a LOT heavier than the Honda for sure:: www.motorcyclespecs.co.za/model/kawasaki/kawasaki_z750%2077.htm

According to that same website the Honda is 499 lbs. wet (see
www.motorcyclespecs.co.za/model/Honda/honda_cb750k%2072.htm
). That only 8 pounds more than the KZ750 which is only a little heavier than 1 gallon of gasoline. I know for sure I wouldn't be able to tell the weight difference if I rode the two bikes, but I guess I'm not good at judging those things. Are you sure the tires are properly inflated? I know my KZ650 feels a little heavy if the tire pressure is a little low. Ed

Yep. My tires are always 35 to 40 psi. I feel more comfortable at 38 actually. When I dropped my Honda in the garage it was easy to pick up. The Kawasaki is just so much heavier to me. I can FEEL the difference. My brother noticed it too.

Honda is 1 inch taller overall. at 44 inches
Kawa is 43.9 inches tall overall
The SEAT height on the Honda is 31 inches
The SEAT height on the Kawa is 33 inches - but my honda feels a lot taller. I have a 34 inch inseam and my feet EASILY touch the ground on the Kawasaki, but takes a bit more effort on the honda. Btw Im 6'2 tall
