As to the engine machine work, I've been boring engines and some valve train work for a long time but, mostly for myself and a few locals. I recently found out when I opened full time that the local golf cart shop, our local off road park and many other people were struggling to get any small engine type work done. Most were sending to shops 70 plus miles away only to have to wait or find out that their block was in New York in one case cause even that shop couldn't do it. If anyone is interested, buzz me and I'll be more than happy to help. I will add, JJ Hooper and shops like him have provided a quality service for sometime now and should be your first consideration, that's their profession, mine is the custom machining and fabrication, but I will help if you so desire.B)

Cool Les! Good Luck! Hope you become overwhelmed with work! (LOL) so you can hire a few friends and family to work for you!
Wish I was younger and did a few things different with others and shops years ago. I got stuff all over the place. Frames at a race car shop.
wheel hubs at a friends home machine shop. Body parts at a back yard collision shop. Then my own small garage is full! I like these kinds of problems though!
Next thing we'll know is you'll have a try at a 4 month TV show on Discovery Channel building classic Z1-KZ's ! ! !
Livin in "CheektaVegas, NY
Went thru 25 of these in 40 yrs.
I SOLD OUT! THE KAW BARN IS EMPTY.
More room for The Old Girl, Harley 75 FLH Electra Glide,
Old faithful! Points ign. Bendix Orig. carb.

Good job, Les. That pedestrian work from the golf course and such may prove to be quite a blessing if you have any slow periods in the custom work as you ramp up.

Well the walls are up, insulation, metal, doors and most electrical. Seems no one want's to work anymore, fired the metal guy and finishing the electrical myself!!!
Started moving equipment today, all machine shop stuff going in the addition and fab at the front of the old shop.
Giving the grinder a good bath before she goes in her place

Back in the very corner, guessing it's going to fill up quick!

Got the CNC mostly cleaned and painted for the move as well, it's sitting in the doorway awaiting the local farmer with forks on his tractor to make the move.

I'll post more as progress is made.

Yeah, there is!! Got to see where Miss stands on her vacation. Around the Holidays I get busy with commercial work out of the local factory's so it becomes difficult to arrange around them.

Machines in and wired, now to get them leveled and and making parts.

Next step is to get the welders moved and set up.
