What age group are commercials and TV shows aimed at? It was said you have to target the mentality of a 10 year old. That was 40 years ago. Been watching Netflix. No wonder the people are the way they are.

Only thing wrong with that video is the 2nd rider didn't pile up right on top of the 1st one. Hell he prolly didn't even stop to help his buddy. Those types of riders it's every rider for himself when it comes to the law. Braindead Idiots. Plain and simple. They won't learn their lessons until their getting visits from their buddies and families in intensive care or being embalmed. Just last week I saw 2 of them eastbound on I-8 doing that same thing. I was doing 80 just keeping the flow of the heavy traffic. They were doing 100+...and they both had girls on the back and their asses were only half on the back of the seat LOL! One of the gals was wearing a tank top, shorts and flipflops! I care less about the 2 riders at the controls, but I'm DAMM glad I didn't see the girls scattered across the lanes ahead or tumbling in the ditch or median as I went by. It only takes a cocky brainless few to give the whole lot of us a bad image in the minds of motorists. ..........................................Mike

Nothing new. Back in 76 Larry had a 14 year old on the back of his Z1 splitting traffic at 80 on the 405. He was pissed because he looked over and there was a Chip riding along side of him in the median. He had his bike impounded, almost went to jail because of the minor and almost lost his wife. She was a beautiful woman, had brains, came from a rich family and I had her sister living with me. The chick was a runaway. I called him Dog head after that. Not only was he a lousy rider and a lech, he was an idiot. I left LA and never looked back. I often wonder what happened to him. Nothing good I bet.

Re: Brainless youngsters!
21 Feb 2016 07:01. That is horrible but you are 100% correct. The amount of moving mass at that speed turns a bike like that into a 400+ lb spear that will penetrate into most anything and be lethal to any and all involved in most cases. It just doesn't make sense, complete lack of thought and care regarding their own selves and others welfare.redhawk4 wrote:bluej58 wrote:Irish-Kawi wrote: If some moron wants to take themselves out of the gene pool be my guest happy to even help, but the moment they try to pull innocent bystanders in and potentially remove them from the gene pool that's when I get pissed and it's not ok. I saw for a moment the speedo hit 290 kph, that's 180 mph WTF?! Take it to a track a-hole!
That's just horrible, but the relatively small frontal area of a bike combined with plenty of speed will make it penetrate into a vehicle much more so than another car would.

Crazy stuff. Hope they signed their donor cards as they are future organ donors if they keep this up. Their brains would be worthless though.

125 back in the 70 -80's would be the equivalent of today's 180mph. If you are comparing the ability of the motorcycles.
Speed limit was 55 on the interstate and we where wiving in and out of cars. At over 100mph.
Know that we are old folks...of course it's wrong...hahahahaha ha
