Let me tell you dem tires are Da Kine! The variable belt density makes for very quick turn in and once you realize that the bike isn't going to throw you off it carves and grips like it's on rails.
Next step is to do as you suggested Ed and cut some slots in the rear brake pads to reduce the power of the rear brake.
