Welcome aboard.
Your questions are really broad and you would likely get a different answer from each member. You might want to spend some time looking at the pics in the gallery and some time reading various build threads. You will soon realize what an eclectic group of folks hang out here. Some members have beautifully restored originals, some have pristine survivors, some have radically altered drag bikes, corner carvers, cafe bikes, brat bikes, choppers, and some defy categorization.
It really boils down to personal taste and how much time and money a person is willing and able to dedicate to a project.

I like the sound that this MAC pipe gives to my 750 twin.

I've since replaced the front mag with a spoked unit. I replaced the Dunflops with a pair of Avon Distanzia's to give better grip.

I believe the MAC 2 into 1 pipe is the only one available for the 750 twin. I kept the stock air box as it make the carbs easier to tune. Yes I did rejet the carbs.

I can't really compare the power because the bike came to me with another aftermarket system installed. It has plenty of power and a good sound without a sharp bark.

The wife helped me capture some video of the 750 today. Please forgive her expletive as some guy insisted on crowding her while she was shooting.
