Uploading a video to YouTube is easy. I think the discussion could be handled in a thread the Chat forum. If it turns out to be worthy we could move it to the motorcycle related forum.

Any body willing to step forward and suggest a topic?

I would be willing to contribute if the video piece could get finalized as all I have for video is my IPad or IPhone.

Cory

Typically video files are huge. If we can figure a way to transfer the files I have video editing software.

You can shoot and edit video on the iPad. Then post to YouTube and embed here on the site.

I'm glad to see some traction on this. It fell flat after the first 24 hours and I wondered if it was going to fly or not.

I would be willing to contribute a few videos for tech night.

If we decide on a video format, can it be posted as to what and where.

Thanks, Spencer

I think a site survey should be thrown out for a couple weeks so that the masses could vote on 10 topics or so to start, then have people sign up to create and post the content.

Those are pretty good to start with. Maybe add...

Brake service
Stem swaps
Wheel bearing change
Fork service, oil and seals.

Might be a good idea to categorize the repairs or upgrades on a 1 to 10 scale of difficulty:

That way, everyone knows the skill level.

1.) Novice
2. Let's Get Into Trouble.
3.) Skilled
4. Ya, It really Worked?
5.) Shade Tree mechanic
6. Wrench Monkey
7.) Real Mechanic
8. ME....... :P
9.) Highly Advanced technician
10.) Forget About It

Agreed, however don't want to make this too complicated as it will just deter others from contributing. IMHO...
