Another what's it worth!
18 May 2013 20:48
I have been offered what was said to be a KZ but from poor pics have determined it id a LTD. Not sure of year but it is before J model and is a 1000. Looks like the carbs are 26's but not
sure. Only bodywork is tank and I have not seen that. So for parts I have motor, carbs, brakes, fenders etc. He wants 400 for it and is about an hour and a half drive. Not sure I should even bother to look. What do you think? I really don't need to many [parts but could maybe piece together another bike I guess.

Its almost all there, minus tank, see if you can knock off gas expense, and you will have a jewel when you are finished.
I have a 1980 Kawasaki KZ750 Ltd. I bought new. I recently managed to get it out of my garage after 28 years and put it on the road again (2010). I feel like a kid all over again. Since I have acquired 3 78 KZ1000 Ltd, 1 1981 KZ1000 Ltd, and another 1980 KZ750 Ltd. Love the LTD's.

How hard is it to adapt Z1 bodywork to the later frames?
