How long have you owned you z/kz?

Hey I was just wondering how long guys have owned their zed's/ kz's for.
I have owned my z650 since I bought her new in April 1979............nearly 33 years :woohoo:
Been all over southern africa and now in Australia, been stolen once lots of changes.
Love that Bike!!

This Spring will make 35 years; I bought my 1977 KZ650-C1 in April 1977. I still love this bike!

Can't compete with those, but I think I'm the third owner, had it since I was 18 (so...let's see, carry the 2) which means 14 years.

i have a 1978 z1r that i have had since 1987. 25 years

my 1980 z1r i have had since 1998. 14 years

the 78 is waiting on time and money.

they ain't goin nowhere.

Owned my 78 KZ650C since new 1978, it was totaled last year though in a freeway accident. First time it was ever down too.

Me too! I rolled mine out the showroom door in September of 1977. Been lovin' it ever since! I still remember my hands trembling as I fired it up to ride it home for the first time! :lol:
