Road Service
29 Dec 2011 11:33
Just purchased a hitch for my Van from ebay. This is my idea of road side emergency service for my bike once I have it out on the road. Also plan on stuffing the tie down straps under the seat for the first few months in case I do get stuck and there is a good Samaritan with a pick up that would be willing to help for a short distance. But I guess I am wondering what other people have for emergency road service contingencies? Do you use AAA or something else? What is a good value for the service?

I keep a tool bag with a few tools in it and have never needed them. These bikes are quite reliable with proper maintenance. I have an enclosed trailer if I crash them or they will not run for. It has been years for me since I have been STRANDED by my KZ's

Unfortunately but at the same time fortunately, just went through this myself...
AAA to the rescue.

Informed the AAA customer service rep on the phone that I was down and out in the middle of the desert on my motorcycle. Please insure the pickup service where they must have the means to strap down a motorcycle.
All good, was home within 2 hours with my baby girl.
