Great idea!!! On the back of course so it can be seen going down the road..

Boostable is the 12th good for you? It is a Monday. T-shirts would be cool. It could be a little fund raiser for the website.

If anyone has a decent copy of the KZ Rider logo I'd be happy to make some shirts available that look a lot like the flag. Mods? Anyone out there got a copy of the logo?

Boostable, let me know what date you want to move it forward after you pick it up from Flyndrive. I can take a day off (two if needed) during the week. Or can arrange something for the weekend. Are you still coming to Panama City Beach? If so I can meet you at my place (you are 1:39 min away), or I can meet you in Ocala and we can continue on from there. We can keep going up the I-75 or us U.S. 19/98. If you are not doing PCB, then I can meet you in Orlando to pick up the token. Let me know which ride you want to do and what date(s) work for you.

Joe

Edit: Of course what ever date we choose for Panama City Beach will also dictate what dates JYDog has to make PCB. So he will need to sign off of on the date as well. Sounds like KZCM will be part of the second leg of the instead. Is that correct KZCM. But nothing should stop you from meeting up with with us in PCB in the first leg. You're close enough. Later in the relay you will get the token shipped to you from New Foundland by T_Dub (at least that is what I have pieced together from all the posts).

Rainman any luck on testing out pens on the fabric to see which one will work without bleeding or anything?

Also what do we want to write on the flag when each person gets it?

Name
Year and model of bike
State / Province

Anything else ???

PM me when your ready to send it my way.

I thought about adding that too, but I don't want the flag to get filled up before it makes it to everyone.

Anymore opinion on what to write on the flag?

Rainman
Is there anyway the flag can be made bigger. The embroidery is awesome, but I think with the size it might be small. If people are going to be writing their info on it, the flag would get filled up really fast, not leaving room for riders at the end. The only size I can think of at the moment that is a little bigger but not too big would be the size if a pillow case (typing in bed so I don't know the actual measurements). That would give a little more room to write, but doesn't get too large and bulky.

Flyndrive, as a matter of fact picked this up just tonight

this is about 20"x21" (51cm x 53cm).
Should be plenty of room on the front.
This is on a cheap bandanna, single side, from Hobby Lobby.

Don't have scrap from the other for signature test.
Fine point Sharpie should work fine.

I was thinking for signature: forum name, bike and date accepted.
This would allow for more than one rider per leg if able.
Maybe add the KZR motto "These Kaws don't get put out to pasture" some where on it.
The journey can be documented by photos at specific points state/province line, points of intrest along the way, transfer location etc. in a dedicated thread or added to the regional threads.

Topper, pm me a e-mail address and I will send you the proof from the embroiderer in a .pdf file.

That looks great. :woohoo: I really like the green KAW green also. I think the white would have gotten real dirty. I think the sharpie will be good also. Just let me know when you want to mail it down to FL.

Looks great!!! A motto would be nice, but how about "KZR Lets The Good Times Roll" ? The "out to pasture" motto puts too much emphasis towards some of us member's age :woohoo: Just my .02

I've been trying to get the money together to get my bike running before the start of the relay. I'm looking at the beginning of April if EVERYTHING goes well. (And we all know how often that happens, right.) So if things kick off before then, and it gets up my way pretty fast, I'll probably have to be counted out.
I'm really trying to push to get it all knocked out, but wanted to let you know my situation.
