Those velocity stacks on the original bike look pretty wicked!

I've found an old Cycle mag with a story on the Vetter Superbike, just have to figure out how to post it. BTW, that MKll looks like a Z1/KZ updated with MKll bodywork , a popular trick when the MKll's were new.

the story is to long and is a hijack..so i will...start a thread...Mike...told you i owned that tank for a milli sec..it exists still i bet ....some where...my guess by by mount whitney in a shed or a forgotten back yard

when i was 7 these boys were in my home town doing some early versions of go fast,,,,skate boards,,,,wet suits,,orange crush...beach boys....and that tank in my rafters.....i know that...Mr Vetter politely forgot ever knowing of a late 78 race team...but i had two sets and that tank....oh btw...that tank went down hard soemetime after that photo...78 cam cover....c'mon...those were what muzzy was hande to win with big K $
