I can start at the most easterly point in North America and go west till I hit someone. That'll be Sandy in New Brunswick or someone in northern Maine I guess. That'll take me two days. But its gonna have to start pretty soon, or next spring.

here is where i have gotten

well for sure it Must be the very, very, earliest day possible for the western "MOST" riders spring 2012 ...any remote reader of this post with a running kawasaki that has a set and wants to kick the ball Charlie Brown.... so for sure NOT 2011, ..and for sure next spring...... to be fair to those bro's who wait through endless winter, sun for minutes a day and really if we are gonna make it true KZrider gig,,,,,to be fair to all...our other continents OZ??? might want some.......they (the far or remote) are the boys with first call for shotgun on this ride,or even to mail in a thing from their ride to the next island of idiots.....i saw a map (and posted the pic on a ride thread) where folks put a push pin.and the map got full but random and then as you step back kinda sequential

I'm good for Ohio or even just part of it if this is going to be multiple same state relays to let others in the same state play.

I started a similar project over on "Do the Ton".We used a gremlin bell to pass around and I bought a nice notebook to keep up with who had the bell, miles travelled, etc. Last I checked the bell was in Aussie Land.I am up for this one as well and could cover Tennessee and North Georgia.Since both I-75 and I-24 come thru Chattanooga, easy for me to go North-South. Little harder E-W (ie Memphis is 300+ miles from me).bj

In my case, my biggest question would be, "When?". I kinda assumed the Spring (which truthfully is the only time frame I'm able to realistically make). But I saw posts here which suggest this fall. If so, at least I shall be with you in spirit. If I knew an approx. target date, then I can decide on whether I can commit or not. This may be the case for others as well. Any thoughts on a time frame Ed? Thanks in advance.

If it wasn't clear on my end earlier, I vote for spring too. That way I'll have time to put my bike together. :) Which I'm thinking might come in handy. Just say'n...
Oh, and I live in Northern Virginia, so I can do any part of VA, DC, or MD without a problem.

the reason i wanted to start from the western or warmest /earliest to thaw for riding..is that if members have the last or next rider stay over or go bbq'ing a few nigths...catch a race....then in theory....my plan lets the sun catch back east/north for a few months more into spring/summer and melts their areas up nice....the only kicker might be the fact that folks with 100+ weather for two of those months may want to have their say before plans hatch and that is quiett a few staes this year that sayed painted red on the weather maps.....

now...who would start a ride if warm to warming or west to east was the decision....Hawaii ...farther....one country this time only....any ideas

I'll cover (if agreed) and organize the Oregon folks. North to South, East to West.

Got a schedule yet?
