Theres just no way to finish my bike by then although that was the target date. I'm not going to sideline the trip to ohio but may not bring the bike, I was really wanting to launch it at this time for the shop but way too many things going on to promote right now. I will make a point to show up at your sites to say hi.

Got any advice/info for a first timer?

I hope to get someone trained at my job by then so I can get off work, trailer the KZ up there and find a hotel nearby so I can, at least, ride it into the grounds. It's 450 miles from here in east TN and I know my old knees wouldn't survive the ride.

Besides, I'd like to be there when they draw my name for that Z1000 and Z1. :lol:

Forget getting a hotel room anywhere near the track, they were all booked up a year ago for this year :woohoo:

Bring a tent and camp at the track, I think it's $35 or so in advance for camping all three days.

I just reserved a room in Shelby. They have some rooms left. These are folks from India and they have been super nice to me the last several years. I locked myself out of my van one year and the manager called his car club.

to all that have trailers that want to park them and ride to mid ohio i live about 8 miles from the track about 4 miles from interstae 71. i will be riding down sat. morning if anyone would like to park there stuff at the house you cant park at the house plenty of room just let me know happy to do it there will be 5 or six of us on kz,s riding down togather dont be shy

Roy I'm still kicking it here in Akron. Haven't really been doing much with the bikes....burnt out I guess. I think I'm going to be able to make it this year.
