Thank you, Jeff.
I was hoping it will show diffrence in those parts by model year. Well I guess not mentioning is better than having wrong information somewhat.
Why don't you write a book, Jeff? We need correct information. Please!

It's hard to imagine how time consuming writing a book would be. I've spent a day or two wrestling with the wording, pictures and content on a 1-2 page article...

I have the book. I can't speak for it technically I'm only a recent recruit but aesthetically it is a very nice book, great pictures and sound writing. If you love these bikes I cannot see how you would be disappointed. Of course if you are looking for perfection maybe you're on the wrong planet. Only mirrors shows perfection. As for being worth $200+ you can have mine for half that. Hell I'll even sign it. Any name you want. No extra charge. Anyone? Buehler? Buehler?
Take it from me cuz I found
If you leave it then somebody else is bound,
To find that treasure, that moment of pleasure,
When yours, it could have been.

but it seems to me like their are quiet a few items lately in the for sale "new" that are complete bullshit.....
I sure dont wanna piss anyone off Z related product ...why keep it swept under the carpet.....
carb repair that takes a season to even get on the bench
parts listed as for a certain model that are not even close
exhaust pipes with bends that wont mount
history of the Z books in glossy coffee table size for nice money that contain errors
Repair shops that paint the kz heads and call em restored
anything im missing
he asked for any owners to please give a review....is that to simple...
maybe i'm just pissed that about another 100 worth of new stuff was wrong and i gotta chop up brand new items......
if the book is claiming to be the source and folks who buy it can see it is wrong...than it is shit
worth about 5 bucks for the pictures

How hard would it be to write down the corrections to the book? There can't be 112 pages of wrong info.

It's not that there's a ton of wrong information in the book - it's the 50-100 pages that are missing from the book...
Here's an example of what's NOT in Marsden's book. This covers the variations in the tank construction over the production run. When you look at some of the pictures in Marsdens book, he's used the wrong tanks on those bikes...
Z1 Tank Guide
There are many, many parts where there needs to be a similar write-up...

Well, I received the book last week.
Looks like it is a reprint.
Many pictures. Good book though it is missing those points Jeff mentioned. I like it.
Just for heads up,
Will be available in US in September. www.amazon.com/Original-Kawasaki-Z900-KZ...0267476&sr=1-1-fkmr0
$32.97 free shipping while used ones are still listed at $120+.

Yes, if you already have one, it will be the same 112 pages. But tt is worth for 32.97 if you don't have IMO.
