Maybe someone will chime in with the exact figure, but if memory serves they were around $3600 dollars give or take. That's when Kawasaki had their $1 a CC rebate too, so they could be bought for around $2600 in reality.

321,000 miles on KZ's that I can remember. Not going to see any more.

I know a 1980 1000LTD was $3695 MSRP. I would think they were more by 1982.

I purchased, in 1982, a new KZ1100-B2 (aka GPz). It was about US$4400 out-the-door. I'm liking what Ron said as the J2 model would have been less than what I paid.

I guessed @ 4000.00 But I remember, you could buy a Dodge K car for that, so had some doubts.:lol:

interesting you should bring up K cars....told one firm I contract with that their horrible computer system reminded me of a K car....silence on the other end...no jobs from them for 4 weeks....THEY KNOW K CARS!!!!!

Congrats OskarM. You make excellent choices!!! I do enjoy mine. I don't see too manyh here in SoCal, at least ones that are stock or close to it. You'll need to post a pic or two.
