There's two that cross Lake Michigan that I know of. There's one between Milwaukee and Muskegon and one between Manitowoc and Ludington for those further north. Both are pricey, but the Milwaukee ferry is really expensive.

Did'nt you post a pic of you and the Kaw on a ferry last year Roy? How many ferrys are up that way?

That ferry goes from Kentucky to Illinois and it's free.

Ford Truck, Your buddies cafe is fargin' sweet! Of course I already knew any hopes of mine winning anything(other than best beaterB)) were futile. But I wouldn't write off your Kz. That is awsome paint. Also you get props for actually having a camera that doesn't need film.

Damn, that is fucking killer bike. Now I see how cool mine could be if wasn't so tore back. I got to get to work. Where did you get that seat? I really like it. Mines got that his and hers two level LTD one. I like that way better! Other than that it's a '78 LTD with the same body work as yours, drag bars, haven't figured out the wiring yet cuz it's a swapped in '79 motor. I got it as some sort of unfinished project. Thanks for showin' yours. It's really inspiring me to get in that shed and get busy! It even came with same exhaust as yours.

Mine had the LTD seat when I bought it. I bought a standard seat cover. My wife tore the seat down while I was at work and redid it with foam she got from an upholstery shop. It looked awesome! The only problem is the foam wasn't supportive enough. We tore it back down and I added three layers of foam from a mat that you put under a sleeping bag. That helped a bunch.

Same here. My bike had the LTD seat swap done before I bought it, but I much prefer the look of the stock A series seat that should have been on the bike.

Rather than shave the LTD Foam, I bought new foam from AmericanClassix.com ( www.americanclassix.com/kawa_seats.html ) and the SaddleMen A series cover from Z1 Enterprises .
