What's with JC Whitney?

Just got the new JC Whitney motorcycle catalog. This company seems to have degraded into a sort of McDonalds of motorcycle parts (as has their car catalogs). Gone from earlier catalogs (if you are old enough to remember) are parts like fork parts, electrical parts, engine rebuild kits and a wide coverage of bikes. In fact, the newest catalog seems 90% devoted to Harleys and Vulcans.

So, are there catalogs from companies out there that still carry a wide variety of bike brand parts, sort of like the Jugs and other car catalogs?

Sadly, that is where the money is at...v-twins... get up on the Dennis Kirk site and request their metric catalog...mighty fine stuff...good to have around.

pretty much same junk theyve been pedaling on the automotive world for 40 plus years! engine rebuild in a can, fuzzy dice and taiwanese tin repair panels seem to be biggest thing they push on the auto side. B)

Tons of chinese chrome that will start rusting before you finish installing it, i live near there. Good for an oil filter, or set of grips- thats about all i buy there..
