I got tired of everyone thinking I was a cop so I figured nothing says "No I'm Not a Cop" like flames.

Looks to me to be a flaming cop bike. Don't ask me to explain further.
Hey dblhdr,
I bet you'd do better to distance from the typical cop bike look if your repainted it any dark color. My 1300 Voyager also had a similar front fender till I cut it down like this:

loose the huge fairing, bags, trunk, rear seat deal, and clean up the fenders a little. Then it would look good.

Yeah it does look cop-ish. And the flames arent fixing it, Sorry. A darker colour would look pretty cool. At least if it was a cop bike, It would have been taken good care of

ok OK... it still looks like a cop bike. i'll have to paint it like you guys said. at least it's still a great bike with only 16,000 miles on it, and it's built like a tank... it will last forever. by the way it took a lot to modify it for the passenger seat.
