It looks alot smoother than it is but it is seriously slick. They finished it two days before the first races so it'll take a while before it's really ready. There was a blown 70 Chevelle that lit his tires up all the way down the track on his first run. That was cool.

All the fast cars were all over the track due to it being so fresh. It was a little scary sometimes. I was on my sons zx6 and the first run I kept the wheel up for about 80 feet but was moving towards the centerline until I shifted into 2nd. That felt pretty good. I still got a 12.52 out of a 15 year old 600.On my second pass I beat a guy on a 05 Busa. He had problems getting into 3rd but a win is a win.

I'm guessing he put in around 2 Million this year so far. I do kind of miss the outlaw feel of the old track but it is nice to have a serious track now. I think the main complaint, besides it being so slick, is that the burnout box is too close to the starting line. If you think you might make it to town for a weekend of racing let me know.
that's why it looked familar i should have recocnized it looks like bucky astin is dead serious about getting the track up and in good shape nice to see.it gives us all some other place to play now up in the northwest division.
