Wholly crapola, what part of that engine is Kawasaki any longer?
Look at the size of that degree wheel...
Question, anodized Blue cylinder... should be able to anodize any aluminum correct?
If so, wonder how much that would costs for sure beats paint/powder coat.... Is there a stain type product available for aluminum?

You can annodize yourself very reasonable. A freind of mine does it all the time, I don't think a cylinder bank would be too much trouble. Best to do it before you bore or even without sleeves in it. The cast iron wouldn't fare too well in the electrolyte. I though about messing around with it on a project or too.
Google it, lots of people do it in thier back yard.

Oh and no you can't annodize all aluminums, 6061 will but 2011 won't for an example.

you cannot anno cast aluminum if it is not 100% alum. Anno at home is popular among youngsters in paintball, but the guys who tried to anno their tippmann model 98's had a terrible surprise, the cast body of the tippmann would actually dissolve in the anno bath.
If the casting has zinc or other impurity, it will literally crumble into dust while in the anno bath. Also all the steel, plastic and oils need to be removed before the anno process.
I would try it with a junk set of jugs before giving a good set a try.

A simple test would be to break part of a cooling fin off of a pair of junk cylinders and see what happens. You would think if it could be done, smone would have tried it already.
If I knew what I was doing all the time life wouldn't be any fun.

yeah but what is actually kawasaki about it?its definately fast but it really gives no credit to kawasaki other than the basic idea of 4 cylinders and double overhead cams,i guess im just too damn nostalgic id rather see some old z1 bashing em off with an old whatever ya brung as long as its got a flimsy old water pipe frame and something based on the origional cases and head with really big pistons in between! kinda like an old B17,aint worth a rats ass in a jet fight but its a tough old classic !:woohoo:what do you mean no soul 340 horsepower on gas no soul if that engine is absoulutly full of soul it is freakin amazing knock the compression down 6 or 7 points and what an incredible street engine. if i had an extra 40 or 50'ooo grand floating around i'd take one for sure maybe two.

myself i'd wouldn't care if it said vespa scooter on the side of it, it is an amazing piece of equipment and art as well, the people who have built these engines are incredibly talented and i seriously would like to meet them in person and i would really love to ride one of those combo's as well i know how tough it can be to get decent power out of a motor. obscene amounts like these motors are getting, the effort and work that goes into one of these is unreal
